Speaking and Writing
The time given for the reading section is in between (77-93 minutes). The speaking section assesses the academic English-speaking ability of the candidates. Writing if for checking correct grammar and spellings in academic English. This section includes the following types of tasks.
Personal Introduction
In this section, you need to record your response to your personal information. Here you get a chance to introduce yourself to the institute. However, this is not counted in scores.
Read Aloud
Text about 60 words appear on the screen. You need to read it aloud in a given time limit. The time limit is varying according to the number of words in the text.
Repeat Sentence
Audio recording is given to you. After listening to the recording, you need to repeat it. The time limit for this id 60 seconds.
Describe Image
40 seconds is given to you. You need to describe the image that appears on the screen.
Re-tell lecture
The lecture is given which you need to listen to. After listening you need to retell that. 60 seconds is the time limit.
Answer short questions
You need to answer the question after listening. But the answer should be in one word or a few words. 10 seconds is given for this task.
Summarize written text
Essay writing
The topic is given to you. You need to write an essay on that topic.it should be of 200-300 words. 20 minutes are given to complete this task.
Reading
The time given for the reading section is in between ((32-41 minutes). This section includes the following types of tasks.
